Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Consultant Contract Role

The company provides inclusive leadership solutions that include consulting on creating an inclusive workplace, training and facilitating employees on successfully navigating teams and the workplace, and coaching senior leaders on rebounding from inclusion mistakes that keep them up at night. Position: As part of our commitment to driving more inclusion in the world and the workplace, we are expanding our team to include DEIB Consultants to collaborate on projects and initiatives as they arise. You can work on various DEIB projects across different industries as a team member, partnering with organizations to develop and implement strategies that drive meaningful change. This position is a contract/freelance role, and you will have the flexibility to engage with projects based on your availability and expertise.

Key Role Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with organizations to assess their current DEIB practices and develop tailored strategies for improvement.

  • Conduct thorough DEIB audits to identify areas of strength and areas that require attention.

  • Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations to educate teams about DEIB principles and practices.

  • Guide inclusive recruitment and retention strategies to enhance workforce diversity.

  • Assist in creating DEIB metrics and measurements to track progress and outcomes.

  • Offer insights on building an inclusive culture and addressing unconscious bias within organizations.

  • Stay up-to-date with DEIB trends, research, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to client engagements.


  • Candidates should possess a substantial diversity, equity, and inclusion background with at least three years of experience as a DEIB consultant or in a related role.

  • In addition, candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of successfully designing and implementing DEIB strategies within organizations.

  • A deep understanding of DEIB issues, trends, and best practices is essential for this role.

  • An essential qualification for the role is excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret DEIB data and metrics.

  • Relevant certifications or training in DEIB are a plus.

  • Experience working across various industries is preferred.
