The Annual SME Inclusive Leadership Impact Awards honors impactful leaders in the United States who have made a profound difference in their workplaces, communities, schools, or non-profit organizations by championing inclusive leadership principles and initiatives. These contributions may include raising awareness, establishing inclusion-focused programs, spearheading fundraising efforts, and more.

A message from the Founder of the ILIA Awards

In 2020, amidst the global upheaval due to a pandemic and the aftermath of George Floyd's tragic murder, I envisioned a beacon of light amidst the prevailing darkness. My goal was to acknowledge and celebrate leaders committed to fostering inclusivity. Collaborating with my colleague, Joe Santana, we both recognized the significance of this vision. Although initially set aside, the idea regained traction and resurfaced with renewed vigor in 2023 contributing to the birth of the first Inclusive Leadership Impact Awards.
Today, the SME Inclusive Leadership Impact Awards honors trailblazing leaders who have left an indelible mark within their workplaces, communities, schools, or non-profit organizations by championing inclusive leadership principles and implementing transformative initiatives. I welcome your partnership and support in making a difference in furthering inclusivity for many years to come.
